We've had to password protect the room due to spammers.  You can join us by going to http://www.meebo.com/room/librarysocietyoftheworld/ and using this wiki's password to enter.  (If you don't know this wiki's password, ask Josh, Rochelle, Steve or one of the other LSW members.)

You can also connect to the chat room using a chat client that supports Jabber rooms.  For the Mac OS chat program Adium:

1. Select "File -> Join Chat Room" (or press Shift-Cmd-J)
2. Fill in the "Join Chat" form with

    

   Account:	<a valid Jabber or Google talk account>
   Chat Room Name:	librarysocietyoftheworld
   Server:	conference.gc8.meebo.org
   Handle:	<the name you want to use>
   Password:	<the chat room password>

3. Click on "Join", and you're in!
